Privacy Policy

This policy covers offer.aequity.io, the property valuation and offer tool operated by KMAA Holdings, LLC d/b/a AEQUITY ("AEQUITY", "we", "us"). It describes what we actually collect, what we do with it, and who else touches it. If something here does not match your experience of the site, write to admin@aequity.io and we will fix the page or the practice.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

Property address. The address you enter so we can identify the parcel.
Condition answers. The grade you select for each room, the approximate age of the roof and air conditioning, and any condition issues you check (for example a roof problem, an active leak, or a renovation in progress).
Photos. Up to twelve photographs of the property that you choose to upload. We ask for four. Photos are stored on our own server, not on a third-party photo service.
Contact details. Your name, email address and, if you provide one, your phone number.
Consent record. If you tick the text-message consent box, we store the exact wording you agreed to, the version of that wording, and the date and time you agreed.

Information we look up about the property

We query publicly available records using the address you give us, including Duval County and City of Jacksonville property records and public parcel mapping services. This is public information about the property. It is not information about you.

Information collected automatically

Standard web server log data: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps.
Advertising click identifiers such as Google's gclid, plus the campaign, source and keyword parameters carried in the link you arrived on, so we can tell which advertisement produced an enquiry.

2. Cookies and advertising measurement

The site loads Google's advertising tag (Google Ads conversion tracking, ID AW-18342599659). It sets cookies that let Google report to us that an advertisement led to a completed valuation. We do not run Meta/Facebook pixels, session recording, heatmaps, or third-party analytics beyond this.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com. The valuation tool works normally with those cookies blocked.

3. Why we use it

To produce your valuation and, where applicable, purchase or listing figures.
To send you the result and to answer you when you ask a question.
To prepare and send documents for signature if you decide to move forward.
To measure which advertising works, so we stop paying for the advertising that does not.
To detect abuse of the tool and to keep records we are required to keep.

We do not use your information to build a profile of you for unrelated marketing, and we do not use your photographs to train machine learning models.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share only what a service needs to do its job for us:

Our e-signature system runs on our own server at sign.aequity.io. Your documents are not handed to an outside signing vendor.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to enforce our terms, or to a buyer of the business in a sale or merger.

5. Text messages

If you give a phone number and tick the consent box, this is the wording you are agreeing to, word for word:

"I agree that AEQUITY may contact me by text message at the number provided, including by automated means, about my property valuation. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or sale. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help."

Consent wording version 2026-08-15. We store which version you saw and the exact time you agreed.

Text-message consent is never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. It is used only by AEQUITY to contact you about your own property.

Reply STOP to any message to stop them. Reply HELP for help. You can also email admin@aequity.io and ask us to stop.

Leaving the consent box unticked does not stop you getting a valuation. You will simply get it by email.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that go nowhere: contact details and valuation inputs are kept for two years, then deleted.
Photographs: deleted within twelve months unless they relate to a property we transacted on.
Completed transactions: kept for at least five years, because Florida real estate record-keeping rules require it.
Consent records: kept for four years after the last message we send you, as proof of what you agreed to.

7. Your choices

Write to admin@aequity.io and you can ask us to:

tell you what we hold about you;
correct anything that is wrong;
delete your information, except records we are legally required to keep;
stop contacting you, by any channel or all of them.

We answer within thirty days. There is no charge, and asking does not affect any offer you have received.

Florida has no general consumer privacy statute that grants these rights to most residents, and we are below the revenue thresholds of the statutes that do exist. We offer them anyway because it is the right way to run this.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS. Access to the server and to the customer record system is limited to people who need it. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise; if we ever have a breach that affects you, we will tell you.

9. Children

This service is for property owners and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes to how we use information you already gave us will be emailed to you if we have your address.
